Senior Centers hosts Lost Penny Day

The Senior Centers of Cherokee County is having its annual Lost Penny Day on Abraham Lincoln's birthday, Feb. 12. The purpose of the day is to collect pennies that have been lost in pockets, on car floors, in sofas, etc. - and to donate them to a charity.

If you find lost pennies, take them to the Gaffney or Blacksburg center by Feb. 27. All donations will be used for the organization's homedelivered meal program.
