John R. Beverly Jr. and Terrian ("Nikki") Oglesby Melva J. Oglesby Pass announces the engagement of her daughter, Terrian ("Nikki") Oglesby, of Gaffney to John R. Beverly Jr. of Mobile, Ala.

Ms. Oglesby is the granddaughter of Clynthree K. Oglesby of Gaffney and the late T.B. Oglesby Jr. She attended Gardner-Webb University and Cleveland Community College and is employed by Wachovia Bank in Spartanburg.

Mr. Beverly is the son of Cheryl Scott and John Beverly Sr. of Mobile, Ala. He graduated from Gardner- Webb University with a degree in Sports Management and a minor in Communications. He is pursuing a Master's degree in Physical Therapy and is employed by the Mobile County School System.

The couple will be married Aug. 21, 2010.
