PACOLET - Claudia Smith Pridmore, 73, of 3988 Pacolet Hwy., went home to be with the Lord on Monday, Feb. 2, 2009.

Born in Gaffney, she was the widow of Harold Lee Pridmore and daughter of the late Dever Smith and Elizabeth Jenkins Smith. She was retired from Vulcan Materials and a member of Restoration Church in Spartanburg, where she served as a faithful volunteer for many years.

She is survived by two daughters, Pam Pridmore of Landrum and Leigh Pridmore of Pacolet; and two brothers, Brian Smith and wife, Kay, of Gaffney and Dever Smith and wife, Carolyn, of Pacolet.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, Feb. 4, from 6-8 p.m. at Blakely Funeral Home.

A celebration service will be held Thursday, Feb. 5, at 2 p.m. at Restoration Church in Spartanburg with Dr. Tony Cribb and Bishop Don Horton officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Restoration Church, P.O. Box 8898, Spartanburg, SC 29305.

The family will be at the home of Dever and Carolyn Smith, 3932 Pacolet Hwy., Pacolet.
