GREENVILLE - Lillian "Nesha" DeBose, 66, widow of William E. DeBose, died Monday, Feb. 2, 2009.

Born in Gaffney, she was a daughter of Lillian Millen Parker and the late James Parker. Nesha worked at Easley First Baptist Church and was a member of Marathon Community Church in Powdersville.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by her daughters, Tammy Best and husband, Jimmy, of Prince George, Va., and Marinda White and husband, Alan, of Piedmont; her grandchildren, Ashly Best, Taylor Best, Patrick Kelley and David White; a great-grandchild, Braylin Kelley, and his mother, Amanda Cox; and two sisters, Yvonne Council and Gwen Stanley.

A memorial service will be held Thursday, Feb. 5, at 3 p.m. in the chapel of Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Northwest. Visitation will follow the service at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 154 Milestone Way, Suite A, Greenville, SC 29615.

The family is at the home.
