JOANNA - Janet Rosenell Yeargin, 73, of 417 Laurens St., formerly of Gaffney, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, Feb. 1, 2009, at her residence.

Born in Gaffney, she was the daughter of the late Harry William Yeargin and Roseline Thomas Yeargin. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.

Surviving are three brothers, Alvin Yeargin and wife, Alice, of Jacksonville, Fla., Don Yeargin and wife, Betty, and Bruce Yeargin and wife, Jackie, all of Gaffney; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Thomas Earl Yeargin.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, Feb. 4, from 2:30-3:30 p.m. at Blakely Funeral Home. Graveside services will follow at 4 p.m. in Oakland Cemetery with Elder Lynn Lawhon, Elder Alvin Yeargin and Elder Floyd Martin officiating.

The family is at home of Bruce and Jackie Yeargin, 4511 Union Hwy., Gaffney.
