Saturday, Feb. 7, at noon is the deadline to register to vote in the March 10 election for S.C. House District 30.

Persons who need to change their address or who would like an absentee ballot mailed to them should contact the Voter Registration Office (1434 N. Limestone St.; 864-487-2563) as soon as possible.

The election is being held to fill the term of the late Rep. Olin Phillips.
