Maternal great-grandparents are Nina G. Gilfillan and the late Grady E. Gilfillan and paternal great-grandparents are Claude B. Webber and the late Frances Webber, all formerly of Gaffney.

Cathy and Larry also have two grandsons, Jacob and Nate Webber, sons of Brent and Julie Webber, of Boiling Springs, S.C.
