Julian Dennis Wyatt, 53, of 404 Kraft St., went home to be with the Lord on Friday, March 13, 2009, at Upstate Carolina Medical Center.

Born in Gaffney, he was the son of the late Julian Paul Wyatt and Shirley Whelchel Wyatt. Mr. Wyatt was retired from textiles and was a member of High Point Baptist Church.

Surviving are two sons, Scott Wyatt and Bryan Wyatt, both of Gaffney; a sister, Cathy Broome and husband, Leon, of Gaffney; a maternal grandmother, Elizabeth Whelchel of Gaffney; a granddaughter, Alexis Millen; and a special niece, Carla Broome.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Wyatt was preceded in death by a son, Donnie Ray Wyatt.

A memorial service will be held Tuesday, March 17, at 4 p.m. at High Point Baptist Church with the Rev. Clifford Phillips officiating.
