CLOVER - Rose McDaniel Stewart, 82, formerly of Clover, died Monday, March 16, 2009, at White Oak Manor in York.

Mrs. Stewart was born March 28, 1926, in Cherokee County to John William Boyce McDaniel and Bertha Bolin McDaniel. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Benny Bratton Stewart Sr.; a daughter, Jannett Jones; a son, Benny B. Stewart Jr.; a brother, David McDaniel; and sisters, Nellie M. Pruett, Jennie Mae Parker and Helen McDaniel.

Surviving are her brothers, Henry McDaniel, Ferman

McDaniel, Bill McDaniel, Jimmy McDaniel and B. Edward McDaniel; grandchildren, Kevin and Amy Jones of Rock Hill and Keisha Jones of Clover; and two great-grandchildren, Shelby and Madison.

Services will be held Thursday, March 19, at 2 p.m. at Oakdale Presbyterian Church, conducted by the Rev. James Gable. The family will receive friends one hour before the service at the church.
