Seniors lead the way for Lady Saints

The No. 4 Lady Saints lacrosse team picked up a 19-14 victory against Conference Carolinas-rival Pfeiffer University on Saturday afternoon at Saints Field.
Limestone improves to 11-1 overall and 9-1 conference play.
It was also Senior Day and the seniors celebrated in a big way, accounting for 13 of the team's goals.
Lauryn Wise scored six goals while Melissa Howard and Shea Farrell scored three goals apiece. Kelly Lickert also added a goal.
Four more Lady Saints scored in the win. Katie Ilott and Kelly Lalonde had two goals apiece. Kristen DeMarzi and Renee Albro each scored once.
Howard and Lickert also tallied two assists as Farrell posted one.
Ilott had a solid day on defense for Limestone, causing four turnovers.
Starting goalkeeper Brigid Milchling had nine saves in the first 50 minutes, while Michaela Reynolds posted one in the final 10 minutes.
Heidi Karaszkiewicz led her team with six goal
Limestone travels to play Lees- McRae on Tuesday at 6 p.m. in
