JEFFERIES JEFFERIES Church News Indian Hill Baptist Church will celebrate the 18th anniversary of Pastor Mary D. Jefferies during its 10 a.m. morning worship service on June 14. The guest speaker will be evangelist Debra Jones Williamson. Everyone is invited to attend.

Mikes Creek Baptist Church will be having its annual Vacation Bible School beginning Sunday, June 14, and continuing through Thursday, June 18, at 6 p.m. For more information, contact James Allen at (864) 489- 1507.

The All-Male Chorus of Island Creek Baptist Church, 2112 Battleground Road, Cowpens, will celebrate its anniversary Sunday, June 14, at 5 p.m. with a singing program. Various choirs and groups from the surrounding area will be participating in the program.

Dunton United Methodist Church is sponsoring a "Summerfest" on Saturday, June 13, beginning at noon. There will be games and giant inflatables along with lots of food. Vendors will be on site to help those who are looking for a car, house, job or going back to school.

Joe N. Corry, a 1982 graduate of Gaffney High School, will be the guest speaker at Antioch Baptist Church on Sunday, June 14 at 10 a.m. A veteran of the U.S. Navy as a chief cryptologist, Corry currently works as a Department of Defense Senior Intelligence Analyst at a major intelligence agency in Laurel, Md. The public is encouraged to attend.

Celebration Services honoring Pastor Clarence J. Davis & Family for seven years of service will be held Sunday June 14th at 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. at Mt. Olive Baptist Church. The Rev. A. Bankhead from Gaffney and Senior Pastor Ronald Frazier from Life Changers Church in Gaffney will be the speakers for these services. Everyone is invited to attend.

The Angelic Chorus of the Ebenezer Baptist Church will celebrate their 30th year of singing God's praises on Sunday, June 14th at 3:30 p.m. Area Choirs and friends are invited to attend.

Have you always wanted to sell or buy on eBay but don't know how to get started? The Gaffney Senior Center, 499 W. Rutledge Ave., will be sponsoring an eBay class Saturday, June 27, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Normally an $89 course, the center is offering it for $45. Instructor is Patty Massullo of Greer, a certified education specialist trained through eBay. Registration and payment must be made by June 17.
