Corinne Mae Grant Smith, 103, formerly of Holmes Street, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, June 10, 2009 at Peachtree Centre.

Born in Shelby, NC, she was the wife of the late William Worth Smith and the daughter of the late George Wesley Grant and Laura Jane Mayhew Grant.

She was a homemaker and of the Church of God faith.

She is survived by numerous nieces and nephews, numerous great nieces and nephews and numerous great-great nieces and nephews; special greatgreat nephew, J. D. Thomas; special friends, Tee and the nurses and staff at Peachtree Centre.

The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Friday, June 12, 2009 at Blakely Funeral Home.

Graveside services will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, June 13, 2009 at Frederick Memorial Gardens with Chaplain Stewart Smith and Mr. Ashby L. Blakely officiating.

The family will be at their respective homes.
