Chamber to launch new website June 18

The Cherokee County Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce the launch of its new and improved website www.cherokeechamber.org.

The launch will take place live on Thursday, June 18 at the Chamber's Business After Hours event at Sagebrush of Gaffney, which begins at 5:30 p.m. The upgraded and updated site is the result of months of analysis, design, and programming. The goal is to provide visitors, community, and members with a virtual experience that is as resourceful as the Chamber itself.

The updated site features:

A Community Events section to view current community events, plan for events happening in the future and relive past events with pictures and comments;

A Member Directory, where consumers, visitors, or other businesses can easily find services and products provided by Chamber members;

A Local Community Guide to find important information about local businesses, recreation, government numbers, healthcare providers and your local schools;

An Exclusive Chamber Member Section where Chamber members can log into their accounts and view important information and offers from the Chamber;

Individual Chamber Member Advertising Accounts, where Chamber Members receive a single page with contact information and an easy to use utility to create a webpage for their company. Businesses can post menus, current offers and advertisements on the Chamber website for everyone to see.

These features and many more are another way the Cherokee County Chamber of Commerce is striving to enhance the business climate in the community and be a source of information and support to all citizens and visitors.

The site was built by Gaffney's Jason Burchill of Cite Systems with consultation from Jack Trnavsky, Josh Crotzer and the Chamber Board of Directors.

Visitors can provide feedback of upgraded website and help make improvements by completing the quick online survey linked at the right-hand side of the homepage.
