Montgomery serves in many different capacities at the church. He is assistant chairman of the Trustee Ministry, vicepresident of the Angelic Chorus, Primary Class Sunday School and Bible School teacher, member of the Young Adult No. 2 Usher Board, and advisor to the Youth Department.

He is married to Terrica Hardy Montgomery and they have two daughters, Hannah and Leah. He is the son of Charles Allen Montgomery and the late Elaine Dawkins Montgomery.
