POLICE REPORT
The Gaffney Police Department recovered a stolen vehicle at Prime Outlets — Gaffney on June 10.
According to a police report, a vehicle parked at the mall had been reported stolen by Enterprise Leasing of Charlotte.
The 2008 Chrysler was towed from the scene.
A thief or thieves broke into a car at a West Buford Street apartment complex and stole a computer and a gun.
According to the Gaffney Police Department, the thief or thieves gained entry to the vehicle in the 1000 block and took a Gateway laptop computer and a .32-caliber pistol.
The items are valued at $950.
Nearly $1,000 in items were reported stolen from a Beech Street home following a burglary.
According to the Gaffney Police Department, someone entered the residence in the 800 block between 11 p.m. June 10 and 5 a.m. June 11 and took a couch, a recliner, a ladder, a television, a vacuum and a carton of cigarettes.
About $600 in electronics and DVDs were reported stolen from a Rainbow Drive home following a recent burglary.
The Cherokee County Sheriff's Office reported someone forced entry to the residence in the 100 block between June 5 and June 11 and took a 19-inch Emerson television and about 50 DVDs.
About $1,750 in personal possessions and heating equipment were reported stolen from a Whites Road home following a recent burglary.
The Cherokee County Sheriff's Office said someone forced entry to a residence in the 400 block between June 4 and June 11 and took a table, a thermostat and a heat pump from the interior of the home as well as a satellite dish from the exterior.
Upstate Carolina Medical Center reported the theft of a laptop computer.
According to the Cherokee County Sheriff's Office, someone took a black-colored Dell laptop from a locked room between 4 p.m. June 9 and 4 p.m. June 10.
The computer is valued at $1,000.
There was no indication in the police report about what type of information was stored on the computer.
