VanDoren the Magician VanDoren the Magician will present a magic show Thursday, June 25, at 10:30 a.m. at the Blacksburg Library and at 2:30 p.m. at the Cherokee County Public Library in Gaffney.

This year's summer reading theme, "Be Creative," brings a new twist to VanDoren's library stage show. His magic is not an illusion, it is entertainment. It should make you laugh; it should make you think. As always, VanDoren's magic shows are fun, colorful, interactive and motivational.

The colorful and interactive presentation of VanDoren's "Reading is Magic" program leaves no child behind. The preschoolers will love the bright colors in many of the effects and will enjoy seeing their friends and older siblings on stage.

VanDoren, the alter ego of Bryan Blankenship Jr., is more than just a performer. VanDoren and Company Magic is the entertainment part of his company "Success by Choice." In addition to his magic performance schedule, Blankenship designs and manufactures magic, owns a magic shop in Ladson , designs and manufactures apparel for his custom t-shirt business. And when he has time he does motivational speaking on success strategies.
