 This photograph was taken at Hotel Portillo in Chile, South America. A group of students from USC Upstate went in May for a study abroad program. Pictured (back row, left to right) are Kayla Moss of Blacksburg, Jamie Mathis and Dr. Angela Hinton. Corbin Hinton, Dr. Hinton's daughter, is in the front holding the Ledger. Mathis and the Hintons are from Gaffney. The Smith family vacationed May 29-31 at Pigeon Forge, Tenn., and took a copy of The Ledger with them to keep up with local news.
