Freightliner edges 76ers to stay unbeaten

Freightliner remained undefeated in Cherokee County summer basketball league play this week.

Monday's games

L&L Realty 14, First Piedmont Federal 13 — Jacorrey Teamer had seven points for L&L Realty. Dammon Rogers had six points for First Piedmont.

A.Z. Hustlers 42, Heat 39 — Jaron Reid and Tarrius Cunningham each scored nine points for A.Z. Hustlers. Kerry Williams scored 19 points for the Heat.

One Time 46, Indians 45 — CJ Miller scored 19 points for One Time.

Josh Corry led the Indians with 16 points.

B&B Trojans 44, Bethel #1 — DeEdward Burris led B&B with 12 points. Christian Munsterman had seven points for Bethel.

Tuesday's games

Freightliner 33, 76ers 31 — Mykerrius Davidson had nine points for Freightliner.

Akeem Howell had six points for the 76ers.

Wal-Mart 37, Wolfpack 36 — Malik Gaffney scored seven points for Wal-Mart. Larry Phillips had 10 points for the Wolfpack.

Smooth Crew 30, Bulldogs 26 — Devonte Huskey scored 12 points for Smooth Crew. Dennis Logan led the Bulldogs with 11 points.

Daddy Joe's 35, Tarheels 28 — Eddie Studyvance scored 10 points for Daddy Joe's. Tyler Logan scored eight points for the losing Tarheels.
