Miss Hammond, Mr. Wilkins married in May 30 ceremony

MR. AND MRS. JEFFREY REID WILKINS MR. AND MRS. JEFFREY REID WILKINS Lindsey Marine Hammond of Anderson and Jeffrey Reid Wilkins of Gaffney exchanged marriage vows on Saturday, May 30, 2009, at Whitefield Baptist Church in Belton. Dr. Charles Strickland officiated the 6 p.m. double ring ceremony.

A reception was held at Omega Farms in Williamston following the ceremony.

Mrs. Wilkins is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Alan Reid Hammond of Williamston and Dawn Embler Hammond of Anderson. Her grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Jimmie Embler of Anderson, John Frank Hammond and the late Bobbie Hammond.

Mr. Wilkins is the son of Mr. and Mrs. John G. Wilkins III of Gaffney. His grandparents are Geraldine Nantz of Spartanburg, Nancy Wilkins of Gaffney, the late David F. Nantz and the late J.B. Wilkins Jr.

The bride and groom are both graduates of Clemson University with B.S. degrees in Animal and Veterinary Science. They are currently graduate students at the University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine.

Mr. and Mrs. Wilkins are making their home in Athens, Ga., after a wedding trip to Jackson, Wyo.

JoAnna Miller of Anderson attended the bride as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Caleigh Clifford, Crystal King and Jessica Miller, all friends of the bride of Anderson. The bride's sister, Bailey Hammond, of Williamston was junior bridesmaid.

The groom had his father as best man. Groomsmen were Michael Crocker, Anthony Dillenger, both of Spartanburg, and Lucas Mathis of Gaffney, friends of the groom; Matthew Hammond of Anderson, brother of the bride; and Brett Wilkins, Justin Wilkins and Russell Wilkins, all of Gaffney and brothers of the groom.
