Rosalee Johnson Price, 97, of 645 Fairview Road, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, June 25, 2009, at Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home.

Born in Gaffney, she was the widow of Alfred Price and daughter of the late Felix Johnson and Ida Cogdall Johnson. Mrs. Price was a homemaker and member of Fairview Baptist Church, where she formerly served as a Sunday School teacher and children's choir director.

She is survived by four daughters, Margaret Parker, Hazel Phillips, Vivian Morris and Sybil Sarratt and husband, Lewis, all of Gaffney; four grandchildren, Renee Jolley, who was her special caregiver, Wayne Parker, Vicky Morgan and husband, Jerry, and Susan Thompson; four greatgrandchildren; four greatgreat grandchildren; and a special friend and caregiver Becky Sellars.

In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Price was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters.

The family extends special thanks to Community Long Term Care Service for their kindness and support.

Services were held Sunday, June 28, at 3 p.m. at Fairview Baptist Church, conducted by the Rev. Stuart A. Kersey and Mrs. Vicky Morgan. Interment was in Frederick Memorial Gardens. Visitation was held at the church from 2- 3 p.m. prior to the service.
