Faye Borders

YORK - Faye Dora Parker Borders, 87, widow of William A. Borders, of White Oak Manor, 111 S. Congress Street, passed away Wednesday, July 1, 2009, at 10:30 p.m. at White Oak Manor.

Daughter of the late Ben Parker and the late Martha Starnes Parker, she was a native of Cherokee County, a member of Youngs Grove Baptist Church and retired from Pharr Yarn.

She is survived by a daughter, Ruby B. Williams (Larry) of Gastonia; a brother, Deroy Parker of Blacksburg; a sister, Lurlean Black of Gaffney; seven grandchildren and five greatgrandchildren.

The family is at the home of her daughter and son-in-law, Larry and Ruby Williams, 512 New Castle Road, Gastonia N.C.
