Ralph Mosley Ralph Edward Mosley, 70, of 329 Sycamore St., went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, July 1, 2009, at Upstate Carolina Medical Center. Born in Cherokee County, he was the husband of Mary Sue Skipper Mosley and son of the late Mack Mosley and Mary Upchurch Mosley. He was retired from Vulcan Material and was of the Baptist faith. In addition to his wife, he is survived by a stepson, Ray Kimbrell of Gaffney; three stepdaughters, Vickie Childers and husband, Bobby, of Gaffney, Traci McKinney of Casar, N.C., and Becky Parfitt of Boiling Springs, S.C.; six grandchildren; one great-grandchild; two sisters, Thelma Turner and husband, Howard, of Gaffney and Elaine Ivey and husband, Guy of Gaffney; numerous nieces and nephews; and special friends, Gladys and J.R. Wyatt of Cowpens. In addition to his parents, Mr. Mosley was preceded in death by a brother, Michael Mosley. Graveside services will be held Friday, July 3, at 2 p.m. at Sardis United Methodist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Henry Guyton officiating. Visitation was held Thursday, July 2, from 6-8 p.m. at Blakely Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to Hospice Care of South Carolina, 1612 N. Limestone St., Gaffney, SC 29340.
