NEWBERRY - The caissons come rolling into the Newberry Opera House on Saturday, July 11, at 8 p.m. when the 208th Army Reserve Band of Concord, N.C., performs.

The 208th is under the direction of Timothy Lyden, who resides in Chapin and is the principal of Prosperity-Rikard Elementary School.

The 208th guarantees a night of honoring our nation's history with a program of marches, popular music, show tunes and jazz. The concert is free and open to the public. For tickets call 803-276-6264.
