Brenda Deloris Jackson McCorkle, 67, of 3182 Union Hwy., went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, July 5, 2009, in Rock Hill.

Born in York County, she was the daughter of the late Walter Lee Jackson and Minnie Broome Shugart. She was retired from Nestlé and was of the Baptist faith.

She is survived by two daughters, Lynn Hadden and Pamela Goodwin, both of Gaffney; five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; two brothers, Tommy Jackson of Fort Mill and Wayne Jackson and wife, Faye, of Tacoma, Wisc.; and three sisters, Henrietta Giles, Sandra Niday and husband, Doug, and Josephine Turner, all of Rock Hill.

A memorial service will be held Friday, July 10, at 2 p.m. at Blakely Funeral Home with Mr. Ashby L. Blakely officiating.

The family will be at the residence.
