Joseph Edward Robison IV, 43, of 136 Joy Ave., passed away on Monday, July 6, 2009, at his residence.

Born in Charleston, he was the husband of Carla June Scoggins Robison and son of Joseph Edward Robison and Linda Lee Robison of Columbus, N.C. He was the owner/operator of Technical Contract Services and a member of Limestone Street United Methodist Church. Mr. Robison was a former Boy Scout Assistant Scoutmaster, First Baptist Church Troop 53, an Eagle Scout, and received the Order of the Arrow award.

In addition to his wife and parents, he is survived by two daughters, Mary Savannah Robison of the home and Cameron Liana Robison of Blacksburg; a stepson, D.J. Moss of the home; two stepdaughters, Cory Moss of Spartanburg and Wendy Burleson and husband, Danny, of Shelby; and one step-grandchild, Asia Guy.

The family will receive friends Friday, July 10, from 2-3 p.m. at Blakely Funeral Home. Funeral services will immediately follow at 3 p.m. in Blakely Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Neil Haynes officiating. Interment will be in Frederick Memorial Gardens. Memorials may be made to the charity of one's choice in memory of Joe.
