Willine Evans
COWPENS - Willine Westbrooks Evans, 80, of 3001 Battleground Road, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, July 7, 2009, at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center.
Bonn in Gaffney, she was the widow of John Evans and daughter of the late Carlisle Westbrooks and Lalie Bagwell Westbrooks. She was retired from The Timken Company and was a member of New Pleasant Baptist Church.
She is survived by two grandchildren, Bryan Sater and Katie Casey: two brothers, Coy Westbrooks of Chesnee and Jimmy Westbrooks of Cowpens; and two sisters, Millie Richards and Jeanette Sparks, both of Gaffney.
She was preceded in death by a son, Donald Westbrooks; five brothers, Joe Westbrooks, Winfred Westbrooks, Bobby Westbrooks, L.C. Westbrooks and Albert Westbrooks; and a sister, Sue Reynolds.
Services will be held Thursday. July 9, at 3 p.m. in Blakely Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. George Holland, Sidney Norton and Ed Taylor officiating. Interment will be in Frederick Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, July 8, from 6-8 p.m. at Blakely Funeral Home.
