Dear Editor:
The Cherokee County Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors unanimously approved the following resolution during our regular monthly meeting Tuesday:
Whereas
— Our community has been shaken by the violent tragic murders of Kline Cash, Hazel Linder, Gena Parker, Stephen Tyler, and Abby Tyler during the days of June 27 through July 6, 2009. They were all beloved members of the Cherokee County Community.
— The Cherokee County Chamber of Commerce sponsors the Crime Stoppers Program to aid Law Enforcement to help ensure that Cherokee County remains a safe place to live and work.
Therefore, by unanimous resolution of the Cherokee County Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors, we wish to commend Law Enforcement Agencies for their hard work and commitment to the citizens of Cherokee County. Your work to secure our community during this most tragic time should not go unrecognized. We are ever grateful for your service.
