Cody Jordan Williamson, 12, went home to be with Jesus on Saturday, July 11, 2009, at his residence.

Born in Spartanburg, he was the son of Gaylon Williamson of Inman and Catherine Ann Wycoff Williamson of Spartanburg. Cody was a member of Mesopotamia United Methodist Church.

Surviving are a half brother, Clinton Leland Howell and wife, Dawn, of Gaffney; two half sisters, Summer Reid of Chesnee and Brandi Williamson of Cowpens; maternal grandmother, Frances Lee Wycoff of Gaffney; paternal grandfather, Jerry Williamson; and a niece, Savannah Grace Howell.

Cody was preceded in death by a maternal great-grandmother, Annie Mae Lee, and a paternal grandmother, Donna Peeler.

The family will receive friends Monday, July 13, from 6-8 p.m. at Blakely Funeral Home.

Services will be held Tuesday, July 14, at 2 p.m. at Mesopotamia United Methodist Church with the Revs. Tommy Hill and Angelia Price officiating. Interment will be in Mesopotamia United Methodist Church Cemetery.
