The Voice of Triumph Retreat Center, 179 Corry Road, Blacksburg, will host at the facility Evangelist Paul Cole and Divine Connection Conference on July 16-18. Services July 16 will be at 7 p.m.; services July 17 will be at 10 a.m. and 7 p.m.; and July 18 services will begin at 10 a.m. Meals will be served after each service and dorm space, RV and camper hook-ups will be available. Friendship Baptist Church, 250 Morning Drive, Spartanburg, will have its annual revival services July 19-23. The Rev. Walter R. Belton, pastor of Saint Paul Missionary Baptist Church, Spartanburg, will preach the opening sermon July 19 at 1:30 p.m. and the Rev. Courtney Mills of Bethesda Baptist Church, Union, will preach Monday through Thursday at 7:15 p.m.

The Suck Creek Praise Dance Ministry is sponsoring a dancers' conference Friday, July 17, from 7-9 p.m. and Saturday, July 18, from 9 a.m. to approximately 6 p.m. in the Life Center on Hwy. 11. Keynote speaker will be Kia Lockhart of Charlotte. Other speakers will be Terri Page of Boiling Springs and Roxie Allen of Gaffney. Registration fee is $10 per dancer. Family reunion

Descendants of John and Ruth Duckett Glenn will have a reunion Saturday, July 18, and Sunday, July 19, in Union. For more information, call (248) 356-7627 or (864)921-7621. A banquet will be held at Carlisle Community Center, 4116 Santuc Carlisle Hwy., July 18 at 7 p.m. and the family will worship with McBeth Baptist Church, 105 Lawson Ave., Union, at 11 a.m. The cost is $25 per person.

Class reunions

Members of the Blacksburg High School Class of 1959 are planning a class reunion later this year. Anyone interested in helping plan this 50th year reunion is invited to attend a meeting Tuesday, July 14, at 6 p.m. at the Agean Pizza on Floyd Baker Boulevard in Gaffney. Meetings

Gaffney Masonic Lodge No. 186 meets on the second Tuesday every month at the Masonic Lodge, 219 E. Floyd Baker Blvd. A meal is served at 6:45 p.m. and the meeting starts at 7:30 p.m.

Bible schools

Christ Miracle and Deliverance Outreach Ministries Inc., 533 W. Frederick St.,will have a Lord's Prayer Safari VBS Fun Day on Saturday, July 18, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The day will feature Bible stories, songs, crafts, games, food and lots of fun. Registration begins at 9:45 a.m. The event is for children five to 10 years old; children must be accompanied by an adult/guardian at least 18 years old or older to register. Vacation Bible School will be held July 19-23 from 6-8 p.m. at Cherokee Falls Baptist Church, 109 School St., Cherokee Falls. Themed "Boomerang Express," classes will be held for ages 3 years through 12th grade. A nursery or adult classes will not be provided.
