Mamie B. Roseboro
BLACKSBURG - Mamie Black Roseboro, 64, of 141 Black Road, died Saturday, July 11, 2009, at her home.
Born in Cherokee County, she was the wife of Sammy Roseboro and daughter of Eliza Pelham Black and the late Will Black. She was a member of Indian Hill Baptist Church.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by a son, Yul Lamar Black.
Surviving in addition to her husband and mother are a stepson, Patrick Lewis Roseboro (Monique); two stepdaughters, LaTosha Gullatte and Christina Roseboro, all of Shelby, N.C; a brother, Victor Black (Pamela) of Blacksburg; three sisters, Willie Huskey, Betty Gibson and Doris Love (Willie), all of Blacksburg; two grandchildren; nine step-grandchildren; and one step-great-grandchild.
Memorial services will be held Friday, July 17, at 4 p.m. at Indian Hill Baptist Church with the Rev. Mary Jefferies officiating.
