I wanted to thank you and The Gaffney Ledger for the generous support you have shown to The Bridging the Gap to Employment workshop our church is hosting June 30 through Aug. 11 at 6:30 p.m. each day.

As you paper recently reported, the unemployment rate in Cherokee County is at 17.3 percent. This workshop is true to its title. It is helping bridge the gap for those in search of employment through skill awareness and personal development.
