It will take more than fuzzy math to make these figures add up.

Gaffney City Council this week unveiled an ambitious list of road paving projects that will cost nearly $700,000. That's more than four times the C-Funds the city has been allocated to pay for the projects.

Council members agreed to delay discussion about the proposed road paving list until county council, which divvies up the C-Fund revenue, opens bids for the road paving project. That's expected to happen Monday.

Councilman Dennis Ramsey had six road paving requests totaling nearly $300,000. His paving list centered on the Canterbury subdivision with Chaucer, Saxon and Camelot drives and Brittany Road.

Councilman Boone Peeler had the most frugal road paving list, totaling $33,586.

Here is the complete list of roads paving requests submitted by city council members:

District 1 (Wayne Ramsey)

- Carlisle Street from Cherokee Avenue to North Limestone Street, from North Limestone Street to West Granard Street and from West Granard Street to North Logan Street.

- Elm Street from Chestnut Street to Oak Street

- Cherry Street from Walnut Street to East Robinson Street

- Hardin Street from Beech Street to Osment Street

- Chatam Street from Beech Street to Osment Street

- New Street from Colonial Avenue to Rugby Street.

District 2 (Tom Reid)

- Pleasant Meadows from Floyd Baker Boulevard to Wilcox Avenue.

District 3 (Bernard Smith)

- Hetty Hill Street to Colonial Avenue

- McCluney Drive from Hetty Hill to Dogwood Drive.

District 4 (Dennis Ramsey)

- Stacy Drive from Floyd Baker Boulevard to West Buford Street

- Browning Road to Huntington Drive

- Brittany Road from Overbrook Drive to Saxon Drive

- Camelot Drive from Saxon Drive to Saxon Drive

- Saxon Drive from Brittany Road to Chaucer Drive

- Chaucer Drive from Brittany Road to Overbrook Drive
