The Gaffney Police Department reported the break-in of a West Floyd Baker Boulevard convenience store.

According to police, someone forced entry to the Fast Point convenience store between 1:50 a.m. and 2 a.m. July 17.

Officers responded to an alarm call at the location but found no one inside upon their arrival.

The thief, whose actions were captured on videotape, stole $40 worth of cigarettes and a pistol.

Damage is estimated at approximately $400.

The convenience store is located next to Daddy Joe's Beach House BBQ, which was targeted by a burglar or burglars twice in the past two weeks.

A shotgun was reported stolen from a Twin Bridge Road home following a July 16 burglary.

According to the Cherokee County Sheriff's Office, someone entered a residence in the 1700 block and took a 12-gauge Mossberg Maverick pump-action shotgun valued at $250.

The shotgun has a black stock.

The Gaffney Police Department reported the burglary of a Colonial Avenue home.

According to police, someone entered a home in the 400 block between 4 p.m. July 16 and early July 17 and took a Playstation 3 video game system and an Xbox 360 video game system valued at a combined $650.
