LC soccer team adds 4 recruits
Limestone College head women's soccer coach Tina Weaver has announced the addition of four more recruits for the 2009 season.
The Lady Saints have received commitments from Courtney Oxner (Honea Path), Devanshea Moses (Hickory, N.C.), Amy Pearson (Townville)and Tarra O'Neil (Hamilton, Ohio).
Oxner, a forward, comes to Limestone from Piedmont Technical College in Greenwood. Prior to attending Piedmont Technical College, she was a four-year starter at Ware Shoals High School. Oxner was a team MVP and was also named the Best Offensive Player as a junior and senior. She also served as team captain for two seasons.
Pearson hails from West Oak High School, where she competed in soccer, basketball, and tennis. As a soccer player, she garnered All-Region honors as a defender and helped the school to a regional championship.
O'Neil spent her prep career at Fairfield High School, where she competed in soccer and track and field.
