BLACKSBURG - Woodrow Jasper Carroll, 95, of 744 Jumping Branch Road, passed away Wednesday, July 22, 2009, at Wendover Hospice. A native of Cherokee County, Mr. Carroll was the widower of Eola Martin Carroll and the last surviving of 15 children of the late Johnson Goforth and Avalonia McSwain Carroll.
