Rickey Bernard Coleman, 49, of 473 Lockhart Lane, Apt. C-4, husband of Mary Leach Coleman, passed away Wednesday morning, July 22, 2009, in Spartanburg Regional Healthcare System.

Son of the late Edward Golden and the late Virginia Rainey Jefferies, he was born May 20, 1960, in Cherokee County. He attended Knuckles Chapel Baptist Church and was last employed by the Board of Public Works.

He is survived by three step-children, Barenda Leach, April Leach and Tolisha Leach, all of Gaffney; three brothers, Edward Coleman, James Coleman and Kenneth Coleman, all of Gaffney; five sisters, Shirley Davis, Nellie O. Holmes, Carolyn Coleman, Rev. Virginia Lindsay and Mattie Jones, all of Gaffney; six step-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives.

The family is at the home of his sister and brother-in-law, Jesse and Shirley Davis, 473 Lockhart Lane, Apt. C-8.
