Alan Smith will present magic shows Wednesday at the Gaffney and Blacksburg libraries. Alan Smith will perform feats of magic on Wednesday, July 29, at 10:30 a.m. at the Cherokee County Public Library in Gaffney and at 2:30 p.m. at the Blacksburg Library.

Smith began his magic career in 2002 by performing for family and friends. Since that time he has been collecting and practicing effects and now performs for libraries, birthday parties, restaurants, church events and other venues.

With a good variety of magic acts, from close-ups to stage props, he gets his audience involved in the show and may throw in some comedy as well.
