2009 U.S. Amateur, but he fell three strokes short of earning a spot into the field, finishing at 2- under.

Gallman's 69 was good enough to post a solid 140 total for the 36-hole event. However, five players and two alternates were able to finish ahead of him for a spot in the U.S. Amateur.
