Gaffney High schedules and parking permits may be picked up according to the schedule listed below. Please note that all students must pay a $20 instructional fee at the time that schedules are picked up. Parking permits are $20.

Students must present the following information in order to receive a parking permit:

1. a valid S.C. driver's license (not a permit)

2. a valid S.C. car registration (tag number included)

3. a current class schedule

4. no outstanding fees due to Cherokee County School District.

Schedules may be picked up in the Gaffney High cafeteria. Enter the cafeteria from the back lobby. Please park in the bus lot behind the cafeteria. Students who have outstanding debts must pay those before picking up schedules. A table will be set up in the cafeteria for this purpose.

Senior Registration August 3 8:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. & 1:30 p.m. until 3:30 p.m.

Junior Registration August 4 8:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. & 1:30 p.m. until 3:30 p.m.

Sophomore Registration August 5 8:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. & 1:30 p.m. until 3:30 p.m.

Freshmen Registration August 6 8:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. & 1:30 p.m. until 3:30 p.m. Makeup Registration for all students will be held on Monday, August 10 from 8:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. & 1:30 p.m. until 3:30 p.m.

Freshmen Orientation will be held in the Gaffney High School gymnasium on August 10 at 6 p.m.

ID Process

All students attending Gaffney High School for the 2009-2010 school year will be required to have an ID card in their possession at all times. Students in the 9th grade building are to wear their ID's. There will be ID checks during the school year.

Open House will be held on Monday, August 24 from 6 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. Parents are invited to visit their student's classes at that time.

Ewing Middle School

Orientation

Sixth grade — August 13 at 5:30 p.m.

Seventh grade — August 13 at 6:30 p.m.

Eighth grade — August 13 at 7:30 p.m.

A $10 Instructional Fee will be collected during Orientation.

Supply list — 3-ring binders, Notebook paper, Pencils. Teachers will let you know if there are any specific items other than these.
