Anna and John Timmerman John and Anna Timmerman of Edgefield are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary today.

Mr. and Mrs. Timmerman, who lived in Gaffney for more than 20 years, were married at Harmony United Methodist Church in Johnston on July 31, 1959. They have three children, Crafton Timmerman of Charlotte, Leslie Alderman of Chapin and Michele Goforth of Edgefield, and five grandchildren.

It seems like only yesterday that this fine couple was wed. However it has been fifty years instead.

This is an accomplishment to celebrate and their children feel truly blessed to have been raised in a Christian home in this present day of unrest.
