POLICE REPORT
More than $5,000 in property was reported stolen following a burglary on Bridges Road.
According to the Cherokee County Sheriff's Office, someone gained entry to a shop, a camper and a 2004 Toyota pickup in the 1100 block between 2 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. July 25.
The thief or thieves took a 19-inch Polaroid flat screen television with a DVD player, a Rossi .22- caliber revolver and a yellow 2004 Honda ES250 all-terrain-vehicle.
Two vehicles in the 500 block of Vernon Street were damaged by rocks.
According to the Gaffney Police Department, someone threw a rock through the back window of a 2005 Lexus sport utility vehicle and scratched and dented the side of the vehicle be- tween 9:45 p.m. July 26 and 8:40 a.m. July 27, while someone throw a rock and struck a 1996 Nissan between 8:15 p.m. July 25 and 8 a.m. July 26.
Damage to both vehicles is estimated at a combined $1,600.
