POLICE REPORT

A burglar struck a West Floyd Baker Boulevard grocery store during an overnight heist. According to the Gaffney Police Department, someone gained entry to the Ingle's grocery store at 1627 W. Floyd Baker Boulevard between its 11 p.m. closing on July 29 and its early morning opening on July 30.

A store employee discovered that someone had forced open an office safe and emptied several cash drawers, and also entered into several registers within the store.

The amount of money missing was not determined.

A West Floyd Baker Boulevard convenience store was targeted for burglary once again.

A masked man wearing all black clothing busted the door to the Fast Point convenience store late on July 30 and stole about $100 in cigarettes.

The store has been targeted multiple times with the same end results. Overall, more than $1,000 in glass has been broken for just a few hundred dollars worth of cigarettes.

Several other local convenience stores have been targeted multiple times in recent weeks as well. During their investigation of the Thursday night break-in, Gaffney officers found a shoe print and a tire track, as well as a dropped pack of cigarettes. The print and track were photographed for evidence.
