Casey Lee Greene, 28, of 131 John Hoyle Road, Lawndale, N.C., passed away Friday, July 31, 2009, at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center.

Born June 29, 1981, in Lincoln County, N.C., he was the son of Nancy Greene Kloosterman and husband, Gary, of Kings Mountain, N.C., and Roy Beam of Cherryville, N,C. Casey was a supervisor for Hess America of Gaffney and a member of North Brook Baptist Church in Cherryville.

In addition to his parents, survivors include his wife, Lisa Dawn Greene of the home; a son, Ashton Greene, and a daughter, Shy Greene, both of the home; a brother, Jacob Mark "Jake" Beam of Cherryville; mother-inlaw, Kim Hunt of Shelby; paternal grandparents, Guy Jr. and Frances Beam of Cherryville; maternal grandmother, Ruth Greene of Kings Mountain; his wife's grandparents, J.W. and Mima Hunt of Polkville. N.C.; and a number of aunts, uncles and cousins.

Casey was preceded in death by a grandfather, Billy H. Greene, and an uncle, Mark Beam.

Graveside services will be held Tuesday, Aug. 4, at 3 p.m. at B.H. Greene Family Cemetery in Kings Mountain with the Revs. Ken Gibson and Freddy Grigg officiating. Visitation will be from 1-2:30 p.m. Tuesday at Trinity Church of the Living God in Kings Mountain.
