Mae McCraw

CHESNEE - Mae Cash McCraw, 80, of 1150 Piedmont Road, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, Aug. 2, 2009, at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center.

Born in Chesnee, she was the daughter of the late Jessie Cash and Hattie Lawson Cash. Mrs. McCraw was retired from textiles and a member of Casey Creek Baptist Church.

Surviving are a son Michael Cleveland McCraw and wife, Brenda, of Chesnee; two daughters, Diane McCraw Orr and husband, Barry, of Mooresboro, N.C., and Beverly McCraw Riddles and husband, Butch, of Anderson; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. McCraw was preceded in death by a grandchild, Travis Blackwell, and a brother, Ralph Cash.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, Aug. 5, from 2-3 p.m. at Casey Creek Baptist Church. Services will immediately follow at 3 p.m. at the church with the Rev. Gary Atkins officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery.
