The following classes will start Monday, Aug. 1, at the Salvation Army: Learning to Operate Computer and Keyboarding: Monday and Wednesday, 1-2 p.m., 2:30-3:30 p.m.; Saturday, 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Excel Beginners to Advanced: Monday and Wednesday, 4:30-5:30 p.m., 6-7 p.m., 7:30-8:30 p.m.; Saturday, 8:30 a.m.-9:30 a.m. Word Beginnings to Advanced: Tuesday, 1-2 p.m., 2:30-3:30 p.m., 4-5 p.m., 5:30-6:30 p.m., 7-8 p.m. Power Point Beginners to Advanced: Thursday, 1-2 p.m., 2:30-3:30 p.m., 4-5 p.m., 5:30-6:30 p.m., 7-8 p.m.; Saturday, 10-11 a.m.; GED: Monday, Wednesday, Friday, 10 a.m.-noon, 2-4 p.m., 4:30-6:30 p.m.; Praxis PPST Math: Tuesday and Thursday, 4-6 p.m., 6:30-8:30 p.m. Classes will be facilitated by Spartan Tutors. Bible school

Get ready for a rockin' time - at Crocodile Dock! Providence Baptist Church invites you to attend Vacation Bible School, Friday, Aug. 7, from 6-9 p.m. and Saturday, Aug. 8, from 8:30 a.m.-3 p.m.

Meetings

Gaffney York Rite Bodies meets on the first Thursday of every month at 7:30 p.m.

Support groups

AA meetings are held Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday at 8 p.m. and Wednesday and Saturday at noon in the building behind Limestone Street United Methodist Church on Carlisle Street. If you have a problem with alcohol, you are welcome to attend.
