 The Ledger was taken to St. Kitts, West Indies, for this photo at the last day of Vacation Bible School. A team of 23 worked with more than 700 children the week of July 12 at Mount Carmel Baptist Church. Wil Inman, Doug Kierstead (wife Tonya) (daughter Courtney), John Henderson (mother Doris) (daughter Kaylee), Junior and Betty Lipsey also from this area were not present for photo. Jonathan Maynor (left) and Nathan Maynor (right) took a copy of The Gaffney Ledger on a recent trip to Myrtle Beach where Jonathan was a finalist in the Youth BB&T Bowling Scholarship Tournament. Jonathan placed 2nd to earn himself a $1,000 scholarship. Pictured with them is professional bowler Jason Sterner.
