PeachCenter Ministries, a local faithbased nonprofit organization, will begin to provide counseling services to its clients on Thursday, Aug. 13.

Since its inception in 1994, PeachCenter Ministries has assisted Cherokee County residents with short-term needs by providing help in the form of food, clothing, fuel and utilities. An analysis of those receiving assistance, indicated that the repeating need for help is often symptomatic of other issues.

In an effort to address those issues and working with the Greater Gaffney Ministerial Association, PeachCenter Ministries will offering counseling services to clients each Thursday beginning at 9:30 a.m. on Aug. 13. Counselors will be available at the 518 N. Limestone St. location.
