BLACKSBURG - Larry Dean Miller, 60, of 171 Thompson Road, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, Aug. 11, 2009, at his residence.

Born in Spartanburg, he was the husband of Lisa Moore Miller and son of the late Theo Ballard Miller and Nanny Stevens Miller. He was retired from PMC Piping and Maintenance Company and was of the Baptist faith.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons, Robert Dean Miller and wife, Patti, of Cowpens and Larry Gregory Miller and wife, Karen, of Gaffney; a daughter, Tiffany Miller Puckett and husband, Richard, of Union; two stepdaughters, Anna Carroll of Hawaii and Logan Grier of Raleigh, N.C.; six grandchildren, Dayne Miller, Andy Miller, Chelsea Puckett, Chase Puckett, Kaitlyn Miller and Jackson Miller; a step-grandchild, Audrey Grier; a great-grandchild, Kyleigh Miller; a brother, Edwin Miller and wife, Eileen, of Duncan; two sisters, Mary Litchfield and Inez Bingham and husband, Bill, all of Greer.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Miller was preceded in death by two brothers, Henry Miller and James Miller, and a sister, Mildred Sizemore.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, Aug. 12, from 6-8 p.m. at Blakely Funeral Home.

Services will be held Thursday, Aug. 13, at 11 a.m. in Blakely Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Terry Duvall officiating. Interment will be in Frederick Memorial Gardens.
