Health screening

A free total cholesterol and diabetes screening will be held Tuesday, Aug. 18, from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. at Medicine Mart, 306 N. Limestone St., Gaffney. No appointment is necessary. For more information, call 800- 0713-3301.

Workshop

Creative Chiropractic and Wellness Center, 401 S. Logan St., is the location for meditation workshops each Tuesday from 7-8 p.m. Cost is a $5 donation per workshop (or $20 per month including five-week months). This is an on-going workshop; you don't need to attend every session but regular participation is strongly encouraged. For more information, contact Rev. Faith Nettleton-Schererm, 864-488-0307.
