Regania Fowler
SPARTANBURG - Regania Fowler Fowler, 73, of White Oak Manor, formerly of Gaffney, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, Aug. 19, 2009.
Born in Gaffney, she was the widow of Robert Fowler and daughter of the late Belton Fowler and Mollie Callahan Fowler. She was retired from Mike's Cafe and was a member of Bethel Baptist Church.
She is survived by two sons, Carey Bruce Melton of Toccoa, Ga., and Michael B. Melton of Cowpens; three daughters, Phyllis Gossett and husband, William, of Mayo, Melissa Edge of Toccoa, Ga., and Jackie Tucker and husband, Ken, of Inman; 10 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and four sisters, Aleene Fowler, Evelyn Allison, both of Gaffney, Marjorie Boardman of Indiana and Garnette Cowan of Asheville, N.C.
Graveside services will be held Saturday, Aug. 22, at 2 p.m. at Oakland Cemetery with Dr. Eddie Burris officiating.
The family will be at home of Aleene Fowler, 414 Pecan St., Gaffney.
